The Carl Vogel Center offers the following services:
Primary Medical Care (PMC) provides comprehensive primary health care; appropriate medical evaluation and clinical care, with appropriate referrals to other health services like oral health;

Get Healthy DC! includes screening for diabetes, hypertension, HIV, and other chronic disease, counseling and educational workshops to improve the quality of health and life for DC residents;

Case Management Services provide a range of client-centered services that link clients with health care, psychosocial and other services. Ensures timely and coordinated access to medically appropriate levels of health and support services and continuity of care, through ongoing assessment of the client’s needs and personal support systems;

Mental Health Services provide psychological and psychiatric treatment counseling to individuals with a diagnosed mental illness, conducted in a group or individual setting, and provided by a licensed mental health professional;

Nutritional Counseling for both individuals and groups that includes assessments, meal planning, state-of-the-art diagnostic testing using Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis, and culturally appropriate nutritional education presented by a registered, licensed Dietitian;

Rehabilitation Services – Complementary Therapy Program provide acupuncture and Swedish massage by licensed practitioners in accordance with an individualized plan of care intended to improve or maintain a client’s quality of life and optimal capacity for self care;

Treatment Education and Adherence Program for both individuals and groups that provides education, clinical assessments, and counseling presented by a Registered Nurse regarding today’s complex treatment regimens and sometimes arduous requirements of Highly Active Antiretroviral Therapy (HAART).

Early Intervention Services (EIS) includes HIV counseling, testing, and referral, along with counseling and education on living with the disease.
Substance Abuse and Prevention Counseling for drug and alcohol related problems.

Food Bank provides free food and personal care products to low-income clients and their families on bi monthly basis. The Food Bank distributes over 25,000 pounds a food a year.

Mobile Unit allows the Carl Vogel Center to provide education and screening for HIV and other STDs in neighborhoods.
